While some Floridians maybe big fans of racing, not everyone is here for the actual races to be held surrounding there communities. Specifically, residents within the city of Miami Gardens have spoken out and are now protesting the revisiting of Formula One Racing being held within the city. This week city officials held a meeting and word is approximately 2-hours worth of City of Miami Gardens residents were not shy to speak out about a new resolution. This new resolution which would still allow the race to take place within the city, also includes $5 million pledge from the race organizers, those funds are said to go back to the city and investing in paid internships for high school and college students. However some residents feel 1 that amount from a billion dollar industry is an insult and nonetheless they don't believe the funds would actually go to them. Last year many for were not for it and today feelings seem to remain the same.
