Kiotti “Radio Boss” Brown didn’t take the usual route into radio. He used to show up at station events and freestyle, and eventually those rhymes earned him an invitation to get on the air. He’s been behind the mic since 2006, starting out on nights, moving to morning drive, and now holding down afternoon drive, with a career that spans Top 40, hip-hop and R&B, and rhythmic radio. One of his proudest moments was interviewing Nipsey Hussle, and clips from their conversation were later included in Nipsey’s book. On the air, he’s entertaining, cultural, and relatable.
Off the air, Kiotti stays busy with fitness, marketing, content creation, and sneakers, and he still finds time to host and curate events on the weekends. Born in Tennessee and raised in Texas, he’s a people person at heart who believes his calling is to help others and make his community a better place. That’s what drives his “Radio Boss School Tour,” where he visits schools to motivate and encourage kids and teens. He shares his home with his wife, Micka; his two youngest kids, Parker and Dylan; and two toy poodles, Kodak Black and Karmelo. His go-to fuel is a protein shake with almond milk and a banana with peanut butter. Don’t judge him.
