When it comes to the album's actual features, Ty got more than just a few of his famous friends to hop on the project. As he explained to iHeart, he got just about everyone to join in on the 25-track LP.

"My brothers Kanye West, Anderson .Paak and Thundercat [are on this album]. They're all my favorite artists, favorite musicians, to work with. [...] Kid Cudi is also featured. You don't hear Cudi on too many people's albums or records. We definitely have a big spark when it comes to getting in and making music. So he came through for me."

Roddy Ricch, Jhené Aiko, Kehlani, FKA Twigs, Big Sean, Lil Durk, Gunna, Future, Nicki Minaj, Burna Boy, Quavo, and Post Malone are also on the album. Not to mention, the LP has a few legendary samples —one being from the queen, Erykah Badu.

"This album is an advancement of all of my previous projects," Ty shared, noting that while it's still 100% Ty Dolla $ign, Featuring Ty Dolla $ign is in a lane of its own in terms of his discography. And while he is known for making club bangers, Ty admitted that the pandemic's effect on club life, which is almost non-existent at this point, didn't affect the way he approached his music nor the sound/energy of his music that his fans have come to expect from him.

"I think quarantining and the pandemic had an effect on everyone's lives, but I didn't let that take over my music because I feel like music is not only a thing that makes us all happy and brings us together, but it's also an energy and I put good energy into this album," Ty said. "I just want the people to feel the energy that I was giving and receive that same energy when you listen to the music."
