Fans believe Young Thug and Gunna's once-beloved friendship might end after the YSL co-founder seemingly dissed him on social media.

Thugger's fans were in an uproar on Saturday, November 9, after he took to X, formerly known as Twitter, and called out Wunna in a now-deleted post. In it, he told his former collaborator to stop acting like they're friends online. The post was quickly deleted, but screenshots of it spread like wildfire. Some people questioned if Thug was hacked, but others were convinced their beef is real.

"Gunna stop acting like we friends on the internet, I don't know u my guy," Thug wrote.

The random post shocked some loyal fans who've followed their friendship closely over the years. Young Thug signed Gunna to his Young Stoner Life imprint in 2017 and collaborated with him on numerous songs. Their friendship seemed to continue even after they were arrested and charged in the historic YSL RICO case. Gunna was one of the first codefendants to be released from jail after he entered an Alford Plea, but he did not participate in the trial. Young Thug's family defended Gunna's decision afterward and encouraged people not to label him as a snitch. The "f*kumean" rapper even advocated for Thugger's freedom throughout YSL's lengthy trial and never switched up.

Before he was released from jail, Young Thug's attorney Brian Steel asked the judge to give his client permission to speak to Gunna even after he was barred from speaking to any of his past codefendants. It's not exactly clear what changed between them since then. Now it appears both artists could be embroiled in a feud. Following Thug's viral post, an account that reportedly belongs to Gunna's brother weighed in with his thoughts about the situation.

"Trust and believe the feeling is mutual 🅿," he wrote.
