No Valentine? It's Likely Because KY Is One Of The Worst States For Singles

Valentine's Day is just around the corner and many adults are searching for a romantic partner.

The pandemic definitely hasn't made it easy to find love either with stay-at-home orders and social distancing.

But, did you know that location can influence your odds of finding a significant other?

Wallethub compared the 50 states across 27 key indicators to determine each state's dating-friendliness.

The website states, "In states with low cost of living, for instance, your income might stretch a lot further, which means cheaper or more frequent dates. If you’re more financially stable, though, you might appreciate a state with more attractions to find new experiences for both you and your potential other half."

Kentucky found itself near the very bottom of the list.

The state was ranked as the 7th worst state for singles, or 44th on the list.

Kentucky ranked 49th in the "dating opportunities" category and 31st in the "dating economics" category.

According to the list, here are the top 20 best states for singles:
